Boilermaker / Fabricator | $60/hr + Daily Allowance | Strong Pathway to Permanent

Are you a skilled Boilermaker looking for a role that offers variety, stability and excellent earning potential?

We're seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join a well established Australian manufacturer specialising in truck bodies, custom tray builds, service bodies and repair work. This is a hands on workshop role where no two days are the same.

Working alongside a close knit team, you'll be involved in a mix of new fabrication projects and repair work, building and modifying truck trays, racks and vehicle bodies while contributing to ongoing maintenance and fabrication requirements across the business.

Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

This position will commence on a short term casual basis to ensure the role is the right fit for both parties. The client is actively seeking a long term team member, with a strong pathway to permanent employment for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and welding of truck bodies, trays and custom vehicle builds
  • Repair, modification and refurbishment work
  • Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
  • MIG welding of mild steel components
  • General workshop fabrication and maintenance duties
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualified Boilermaker, Fabricator or similar trade background
  • Experience working from drawings
  • Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
  • Experience with truck bodies, trays or heavy vehicle fabrication highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am to 1:30pm
